I did some horse trading Saturday with another guitar "collector". Traded away my Ltd EC256FM for an upgraded 2002 Fender Strat, with locking tuners, Fender 57/62 pickups and a custom cloth wire harness. I was also given the original wiring harness and pickups, and even got a deal at SA on the Gator TSA case.
Here is my new guitar in her new home.

Congrats. Sounds like you cam out on top of that horse trade! Enjoy the new Strat and case.

Yes, you can't beat a white Strat - very nice indeed! New string trees as well? (I also like two).

Digressing slightly, is that a Levy strap? Nice quality, but I can never find a position (whichever way round I fit them) where the 'looped-over' part isn't uncomfortable. The 'knot' is either on my shoulder or halfway down my back - either way I can feel it through my shirt or t-shirt. I've found this isn't exclusive to Levy's either. At least as I now only have Strats I can use one old comfortable strap for all, but I did think of getting some made up with just a fixed length, no adjustment loops/buckles/whatever.

Cheers - Peter.

Thanks all.

I guess the string trees are new. They are really low, no spacer. Might have to add them.

Yes, It is a Levy strap. I use that and several "Rock Steady" straps of the same style. I know what you mean about the "bump" of the knot. I liked the straps so I got used to it.
