Have Fender ever matched a neck and body and serialised both parts?
I doubt if it's a genuine Fender production sticker, which throws doubt on it being a Fender body.
Guitars of the time had the serial number on the face of the headstock.

On the authenticity, I ain't not never saying nuffin - except that a serial number usually doesn't guarantee a lot.

Those FRR stamps are a good sign (Fender/Rogers/Rhodes + inspector number), and could fit the supposed 1982.
The form (E0 + five digits) of the serial fits 1979-1981, but overlapping has always been a Fender Fun Feature.
On the other hand, that paper sticker is a bit peculiar.

Anyway, this body was already sold on reverb on May 24th... Edit: as a 1981 body.

Actually Fended did do those stickers like that toward the end of the CBS era - from maybe 1978 or 1979 through at least 1982. My old '79 Lead II had them on the body, pickguard, and on the back of the neck.

What is that body from - a "The STRAT"? Usually those had "G" serial numbers, but I suppose it wouldn't be out of the question for it to have an "E0" serial number. And since Fender was using serial number prefixes over multiple years (i.e. "S8xxxxx" used on all 3 Tele models from 1978-1982; "S9xxxxx" used on Strats from late 1978-1981, etc.) it isn't out of the realm of possibility that they used an "E0" decal, which was normally used on Lead Series guitars, on a "The STRAT" as late as 1982 - particularly as they were winding down "The STRAT" production.

You tell me - those all cap models aren't at all familiar to me.
The reverb listing is here: "original red eighties body Stratocaster"
If that used to be the STRAT, it's a pity someone took it apart. Matching headstock etc.

Now that I've seen the other photos that's my best guess - based on the 4-bolt/no micro tilt, candy apple red finish and the contours of the body.

I had a 1980 The Strat and it had an E0... serial number and I think it had a similar sticker on the body also.

I've learned something from this thread, and my doubts about the authenticity of the guitar body have gone.
I remember the STRAT models coming out, but I never saw one taken apart.

Good eye - I didn't go through all the photos on that one. Those are gold/brass Tele knobs; the STRAT had gold knobs shaped like normal Strat knobs.
