Well I want to put the SSJBJ humbucker(Jeff Beck's) into the bridge position of my Squier strat standard but I'm not shure if I'll get the improvement of the sound that I want, because after all its a Squier. It's made of Agathis wood.I havent noticed that some other guitar is made of that wood.

There is no way to tell until you try it. No one here can tell what you like.

I say give it a shot. The Squiers that have Duncan Designed pu's sound great. Do not let peole fool you, even Squiers can be great guitars.

SD makes some fine pups, I can't see how it can make it sound bad.

I''ve got a Squier Vint Modified. Their better Squier. IMo it's superior to the MIM in finish and fit.

I dropped that very pickup in to it (also tried a hot rails) and they both made %1000 difference.

But the JBJ is the best sounding to my ear :D

Duncan designed are good but the real thing is even better

Sometimes pickups can make more difference to your tone than the wood of the guitar itself. It's kinda like singing into a completely different microphone or eq setting... Don't let the guitar discourage you... besides u can always keep those seymours for a new upgraded strat later on down the road if u like them.
I say go for it!
You might want to be sure that those seymours have the proper pole position spacing compared to the string spacing your squire has...
I hope that makes sense to u...
Cheers!

I think that instead of putting a seymoure duncan on a squire, you should get a good MIM strat and then get the seymoure duncan to have a quality guitar.

Or for pretty much the same money buy a very attractive Lite Ash Strat with Seymour Duncan pickups already fitted. Not the OP's original choice of SD, I know, but still very good at the price. Just a thought.

Cheers - C
