2007 Roadhouse Strat, Artic White. All stock except strap locks.

Its a great guitar, I'd wish I had a rosewood v-neck profile....

My MIM Strat arived yesterday lunchtime. Midnight Wine. Rosewood fret board. Just beautiful.
I have only played second hand guitars og no discription and a couple of home made jobs, I thought I was a fair sort of ok guitar player. But now I sound great or the Guitar does. There's no turning back now I gonna learn everything I can.
I'm delighted to be a MIM owner. Can not fault em. I might even get another. I rather like the sunburst you get to see a bit of wood and the red into black is realy nice...

Yah, I have a 2009 sunburst MIM. It's really nicely done, I just wish the woodgrain was a little more pronounced, but it's all good.
One thing though, when i was first shopping for a guitar, all the listings for the MIM Strt said it was a BROWN sunburst , but it's really just the standard black-red-yellow burst.
What's up with that? I was really looking forward to the brown burst. I'm not complaining, but it was a tiny bit of a letdown.

Here's my MIM Strats...a 2001 "Blackie" with Hot Noiseless pups, and a 2004 Midnight Wine. Both are great.

2008 Fender HSS Standard Stratocaster in Artic White with rosewood fret board

2008 Fender FSR Standard J Bass natural ash finish with rosewood fret board (yes, I realize she's not a Strat nor a guitar but, I loves her just the same)

…both lovely ladies courtesy of our good neighbors from South of the border. Ole!

I should also add that they are both stock and unmodified. I intend to keep them as such since they are flawless and beautiful.
If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it!

I chose my MIM Roadhosue over a MIA Highway 1. Felt and sounded like a much better guitar.

The Guitar Dater Project Web site...

came back with...

Your guitar was made at the
Ensenada Plant (Fender), Mexico
in the Year(s): 2008 - 2009

Love the Grafitti Yellow. :)

John

How do you know exactly what year it is rather than it just saying 2000-2001 like in my case?

Perhaps he looked under the hood. Many parts (neck, body, pots, etc) have the dates of their manufacture stamped on them.

I really like those new MIM's. I checked a white with maple neck out the other day at Guitar Center. The necks look tinted, which is cool.
