I like them. I suggest that if you're thinking of changing pups, you should listen to some of the clips at you tube to see how they sound etc. I imagine most of the pickups that are available are pretty well represented there.. and it's the next best thing to trying them yourself.

Greetings all Strat and Fender lovers! Finally, a place for the most sacred and loved electric guitars of all time! Just found out about the Fender Forum so I guess I am a new boot recruit having just joined moments ago. Love all things Strat whether American, Mexican, Japanese, and even some other far away places...and this MIM page is a cool idea. Currently have 2 in my arsenal: 1998 70s reissue, Olympic White which has become more off white over the years, rosewood neck, 3 ply pickguard and is armed with a black SD Hotrails in the bridge, a Custom Shop 54 in the middle with black cover and a black SD Performer in the neck position. Knobs a switch tip also black. It is dinged and scratched, weighs a ton, has thousands of miles on it and I abolutely love it. Use it for everything from Iron Maiden to Lynyrd Skynyrd.....I call it Ritchie cause it looks just like Blackmores favorite. Just picked up a 2003 MIM Sage green metallic for a whopping fifty bucks...Maple neck, stock PUPs, incredible action. May put a different lead pick up inside, but for now, just wired the stock lead PUP to the tone control as I have done on all my Strats except for my reissues and American Series. Questio :D n? Can you send pics to your profile via a camera phone? Dont own a camera yet, somebody let me know, got lots of pics I would love to share!

You can upload them on to your computer, and then if you have a photobucket account, you can load them there. If you don't, you can create an account in a few minutes. It's free. Once you upload pics there, there are some drop down windows below each pic.. the very bottom one has image tags (like this on the ends [img] ). Copy paste the text in that box to include the img tags, and paste it right here on the message. That will embed the pic into the post.
