I recently bough a 2002 "Tom Delonge" signature stratocaster MIM.
C shaped, fat headstock with a Duncan Invader. Decent guitar as is, but i bought it to mod it. New Bridge, New Tuners, Pots, Switch, Pickups. But the neck is a dream and this body was truly crafted great.

tempa, i am NOT an expert by any stretch, however, i'd bet 5 bucks your neck relief is off. it would take a decent luthier about an hour to fix this. you could measure it yourself, but, hey. she's under warranty, and sometimes it's best to let the pros fix it, in case you (or me) is wrong. just a matter of a truss rod adjustment is probably the fix.

i think the mrs would be happier that you handle it that way.

I thought this was the MIM Owners club. Nobody said anything about pictures of me. Nobody wants pictures of me.

Some nice guitars though. Really nice.

No worries. We are all human. I just noticed that other thread. As I said, I'll stick with pictures of my guitar.

Very nice, Spyke. Looks like you have the 50s and 60s covered with two of the finest Mexican made Strats. 8)

Thanks guys! Yeah, I'm really pleased. I just think it's amazing we now have access to such great quality instruments with the Fender brand all over them, for such good value prices. Times are good. :D

Hey guys, new to the forum. Thought I would post my MIM's. Sorry for the crappy pics, but for now I guess they'll do until I can take some better ones.

The sunburst is mine, a 2001 Deluxe Super Strat (like the current players strat), w/ super fat super strat pups.

The midnight blue is my 12 yo daughters, 2000 standard strat, W/ standard pups (for now). I'm still trying to figure out what pups I may want to put in there someday.

The midnight wine, in satin finish is my 7 yo daughters. 2003 standard strat, w/ texas special pups.
