So heres a pic of mine in the G & G case. FWIW, they don't make em' like they used to. Mine has a broken latch and its never left the house....3 yr's
Theres plenty of room in the case for cables, strap and the large accessory area holds all of the misc. parts/pieces from strings to tools.....

Wow such a nice colour of that Strat and I just love larger late 60's headstock! Maybe cause my first Strat was 79, I like that curved in large letter STRATOCASTER

Once again really like the color of your guitar :P

Thanks, its a 2012 FSR (GC) hand rubbed honey satin finish Am SPC.
Being a smoker, I think it looks like nicotine stained Alder and I can appreciate the woodgrain beneath.

Being a smoker my self I really like it. My Special is 2013, sat in store till few weeks ago till I bought it new. It's candy apple red.
I noticed it's three piece body and I like that to. To be honest I like everything about Specials.
Cheers

I got the Pro Series with my 2014 MIA Standard and was pleasantly surprised. I expected the ABS, but this reminds me of my '66 Strat. I've heard good and bad, but mine seems well built, no flaws and holds the guitar in place very well. It doesn't form fit, but the lid fits snuggly over and keeps things from moving around. It doesn't leave the house much so serves my purpose. I would have preferred the tweed with red interior, but oh well. I thought I wanted a G&G until I read the horrific reviews of QC on those. Not worth the additional money that I could see and nothing like my '66 case (real leather trim). The 2 storage compartments on the Pro Series are OK. It will fit strings, picks, cable, thinner straps and that's about it. They're not very deep. I saw the new Elite cases on youtube. I think I might like those. They're ABS plastic I think, but the interior was very nice. Probably have to buy the guitar to go with it. :)

Nicotine is colourless.
It's the tar in the smoke that causes staining, so there's no such thing as nicotine stained fingers, or nicotine stained anything for that matter.

A little knowledge is dangerous.
Yes, what is typically seen are tar stains or tobacco juice stains. But that doesn't mean that nicotine doesn't stain.
Nicotine, when exposed to UV light, oxidises into several compounds, one of which is a mild bleach and another which reacts with cellulose (wood, cotton) and turns it darker. Spill clear liquid nicotine on vinyl, and you get a light spot. Spill it on wood, and you get a dark spot.

Just today I checked out the latest model of Fender's ABS molded case, and the fit inside is perfect, very snug for Strat and Tele, since I just might buy a Tele in next few weeks
