yeah it so awesome to get a new guitar. im actually building a reverse headstock strat with my grampa now, its gonna be made out of all real fender parts except the body which im making myself. and also the neck might not be fender if i cant find a cheap one on ebay. if u wanna see my plans look at my painting my own guitar thread, its turned into a making my own guitar thread. but i am still gonna save up and get real one cause theyre awesome.

i would like to get a warmoth neck but theyre so damn exspensive, aren't they like 300 or 400 dollars? im in the 40 to 70 dollar price range. Ill just a crappy neck from ebay and sand it really nice, and then maybe one day ill replace it with i high quality one.

P.S. lol toes

You can get them for much less than that, it all just depends on what options you get. There are also even cheaper companies licensed by Fender that could make you something.

Just be careful when you buy a realllly cheap neck. There could be problems. It could need an expensive refret or even be badly warped.

And yes, I always manage to get something in my pictures that's not supposed to be there. In this case, my toes.

With the intense birdseye figuring this one ran more into the 400 range. I was going to go for higher grade but I'm glad I balanced between looks and budget, considering this one looks even better than what I paid for it.

In order to keep this thread on topic I'll post some nice pictures of my finished secret little project in the "Pics of your strat" thread, in about a week or so when it's all done.

At Warmoth's website, click on "Screaming Hot Deals" to find some, well, screaming hot deals on some necks.
