Hey guys! I have a brand new arctic white Stratocaster 2015-16 and I am upgrading the pickups. Amazing guitar btw!

I am going to put a CS69 in the neck, a Texas Special in the middle and I will be using the pickup covers that came with the guitar (I Think they are Parchment colour)
Now I´m thinking of a Pearly Gates Trembucker for the bridge. How will the white SD Trembucker fit colour wise to the other pickups I´m putting in ? Should I perhaps get the Pearly Gates Plus (Parchment) instead ?

I will post a few pictures of the guitar below.

All input greatly appreciated!=)

Congrats on the new Strat! My first thought would be - why change it?! It can take me ages to bond with a guitar - you might really like the Fat 50's in a year's time! Having said that...

I looked at both some years ago and was surprised to find there's quite a difference between PG and PG Plus. The Plus is a bit hotter (fair enough) but also has a different magnet. While I never back-to-backed them, I've been very happy with the ordinary Pearly Gates. Mine isn't a Trembucker either - just standard spacing. I reckon as soon as you bend a string it's either on or off a pole-piece anyway! And - although someone will probably correct me - didn't the original HB-equipped Strats pre-date wider spaced p/ups anway? Fender obviously thought they were OK.

I also have a HH Strat with a JB in the bridge. I wouldn't recommend that to go with SC's (too hot) - just in case you were considering that as well.

Colour-wise, the white fades after a few years but won't match Fender 'parchment' immediately. I didn't know SD did parchment, but if they do - and an immediate colour match is important to you - that's presumably the way to go. Or buy a couple of white SC covers, if the CS69 and TS supplied covers aren't white...?

Cheers - Peter.

Peter S - I believe that's an MIM Standard and not American Standard with fat 50's. The 21 frets was my first clue as well as Arctic White is not MIA and the bridge PUP should be a "Shawbucker" if MIA, but doesn't look like it. Nice guitar with dark rosewood.

Ah, missed that! That would explain OP's desire to upgrade, then.

Thought I'd better add - I only looked at OP's first pic and thought it was a 'factory' shot of what he wanted, not his actual guitar. I'm only a semi-dummy, not a complete one!
