I bought Fender LTD Strat Mah Blacktop (the special edition 3 humbucker-model). There was no specific information of wiring of the 5-position lever.
Of course I can guess wiring by playing, but it would be good to know the exact specs. Anybody?

I checked from the chat service on support pages; the full parts list & service diagram "is not yet publicly available".
That may translate that FMIC themselves don't have it - that has been the situation with some Far-East special versions.

But if you only need the switch functions, they're listed on the product page: https://shop.fender.com/en-GB/electric- ... &rdl=en_US (You need to choose UK as your location - this is probably a "Europe only" model.)

Nothing fancy, it seems:

Thanks for the answer! I found the same.

Btw positions 2 and 4 sound cool also, almost like little out of phase, but maybe not because that is not documented.. anyway good buy this was.

The humbuckers are wired in series in positions 2 & 4.

This guitar deserves a push-pull pot to unlock the full sonic palette currently unavailable on this model.

Yes that's right, there are no single coil options in this HHH model.

Which could be done with a single S-1 switch (4P2T), or for maximum tonal variation...

The S-1 switch knobs for Strat are available only in "Volume", but the Tele is simply a square-top chrome knob. All three pots could be replaced with solid-shaft S-1 switches and Tele style knobs, providing independent control over coil tapping for all three pickups.
However, tapping the coils may have a negative impact on some of the series configurations, but with each switch being 4-pole, it would be possible to change which coil comes first in the pair, so only a position that puts all three in series would be negated.

Blacktops utilize black skirted amp control knobs.
