Anyone know where I can buy a BLACK anodized pickguard, specifically an 8 hole, 50's style. Any suppliers or website info would be greatly appreciated.
It's for a 2009 Fender FSR Thin Skin '59 Strat. Thanks.

Since Fender never offered such an OEM part an aftermarket company may be your best bet. Or go with single-ply black plastic.

I purchased pickguards from a company called "greasy groove" in the past. iirc correctly, they can make you a pickguard. check out their website. good luck!

WD does a huge range of custom pickguards. Bit expensive in GB as they're made in the US - better for you, of course! - but I've had plenty, and quality is good. They certainly do a SIMULATED version of what you want. Whether that would do you, I don't know...

Cheers - Peter.

There's a company in Chicago advertizing they make aluminum pickguards, check out if they can make an eight-holer. No personal experience, though. Website http://www.anotone.com

Indeed so, although compared to genuine Fender replacement guards in the UK, they aren't excessive. I am really pleased with the guard they made for my Telecaster shaped Strat body.
