so brad, let's look to the future. any chance we could see a vibrolux or any other amps be released as a tonemaster? i like the 2-10 amp, and this may get me interested.

Always impossible to predict the future, of course - but it certainly stands to reason that the success we're already seeing with these first two introductions might well result in additional models being considered in the future. How's that for a noncommittal answer?

I mentioned that to Brad in a private e-mail, PB.

I too think it would do well in the marketplace.

Arjay

Correct, Arjay mentioned this same idea as well ironically enough!

Maybe go ahead and buy the Twin or Deluxe just to help pass the time while we wait?

Arjay, I know you'll want to do you own comparison, but for now - Anderton has a video out doing a side-by-side comparison of both the Twin and the Deluxe. They do a pretty good job. Only difference I could tell was when using an overdrive pedal.

After analyzing the Anderton video (I watched it twice) I believe the tube models still have the better dynamics and organic overdrive. That said, both of the "simulators" did sound quite credible and at half the price and half the load-out weight, I think they represent good value for the money. The rear-panel attenuator seems to perform well and the line-out recording jack is something that's become a necessity on today's live-venue stages. I do think that the addition of a standard headphone jack would be a worthwhile feature.

So with the Twin coming in at 30 pounds, can we expect to see a Super Six that we can move without two friends and a truck?

I'm thinking two Super Sixes at all gigs would be perfect - one on each side of the stage. I aim to push as much air as possible.
