Does Fender offer a replacement program for shoddy workmanship? I spent a lot of money on this pedal for the effect to gradually dim like it has over time to basically just being a box with an in and out jack with pretty LED's now.

I'm not very happy with it since I thought it was going to be a really high quality piece of gear.

How long have you had it? Is there a Warranty on it? Did you purchase from a site/seller with a Return Policy? Did you at least Register it? Save the receipt? Still got the box? Did you call or email Fender Support?

It's a lot of questions...but they're all pertinent.

All pertinent questions. But as far as the warranty questions go, you have to live in the states, you have to have the original receipt, and you have to purchased it direct from Fender.

Not much of a warranty, IMO. It's fender's discretion if you get a replacement or refund..

Good luck,

Are you sure about that? I believe (and I could be mistaken) the terminology states "Fender Authorized Dealer".

Well; that's horse sh*t...I have never in my life ordered a product DIRECTLY from Fender, and I have 20 Fender products Registered on their site. And I've always filled out the Warranty cards. Apparently I've been wasting my time.

Yeah, I'm not sure what that's all about. I mean, Wong-Mart sells Strat Paks at Christmas time -- they're not a franchised Fender dealer yet I know that those sets have some kind of limited warranty. Could be just another "weasel clause" that FMIC relies on to evade responsibility for shoddy products. Personally I'll never buy another new Fender product again.

Yah; I've never gone directly to Detroit, Michigan and bought a vehicle directly from Ford Motor Company...but I've gotten an honored Warranty from an authorized dealer in my area.
All my "new" Fender gear has been purchased through Fender authorized dealers, and all have come with Warranty hang-tags and/or cards that I always read carefully and follow instructions (also save all my receipts) cover my bases. It just annoys me that (unless we are misinterpreting the terms) it's all been a waste of time.
I Register all my Fender gear (new or used) for insurance purposes in case of theft or fire---so I'm happy to do that and don't feel like I've wasted my time.
Thankfully; I've never had to find out by an authorized dealer/repair shop that my Warranty was no good, because I haven't had any equipment failures YET.

I believe I have everything I need at this point as well.

Well, its been over a year though I did purchase directly from Fender's site. I did see the pedal is made in China so it probably suffers from the Epiphone syndrome. I finally got it working "normally" by continually flipping the toggle switches, but I'd probably be even better off to to get contact cleaner since it *Seems* the crappy solder job is the issue.

Thanks so much for your replies.

Thanks for coming back with an update...it is refreshing to see because it is not a common occurrence. There are thousands of "one and done's" here.

In all fairness, 90% of the "one and done" posters here are due to the time it takes to get approved (and they still can't keep the spammers out).
It's particularly bad around NAMM when it can take 2-3 weeks to get approved... most will simply move on to another forum and get their question answered before anyone can even see their post here.

We've got some very helpful and knowledgeable people on this forum and it's a shame that Fender is not more attentive to supporting us.

By the same token, I see posts on other forums where people indicate that they have "asked Fender on their forum..." and are unhappy with what they perceive as a lack of customer service.
I'm not sure how Fender can make it clear to new users that this is a user-supported forum and not a direct channel to CS.

A sub-head banner on the forum's home page would work if the font were large enough and dramatic colors were used.
