Where can I acquire the GT lineup schematics? I have checked Fender Support as well as searched fmicassets and cannot seem to find anything related to the GT. I can easily find the Mustang V2 schematics as well as Rumble V3 etc but cannot find the GT100 anywhere. Would also like to have the GT40/GT200 if separate schematics.

No idea how to tag users on this forum I tried @ and [tag] and never seem to work. Was going to try to tag Brad Traweek to bring this post to his attention. So if anyone knows would you tag for me or even better let me know how it's done on this forum.

I don't see any reason why we shouldn't be able to get the schematic as all the other amps are available. The V2 was available way before the GT ever released. My guess is that the knowledge base article just doesn't exist yet to link to it but its somewhere on fmicassets website. The thing is finding it can be tough depending on how it is named. For instance the V2 was named 2300300_gamp_schematic.pdf, so not knowing the name can make it tough to find.

Well, fender designates amps like this as 'non field repairable" meaning they do not authorize repairs are thier partnered warranty stations. Therefore they either don't distribute schematics or only under certain circumstances. They warranty this type of amp by replacing them if defective for the warranty period and after that you're on your own. So the schematics are not distributed generally. The original mustang series came out around 2012 at which point things hadn't gotten to the point they are today. I don't know if they were the same designation but probably not which would speak to why the schematics were available.

Another issue is that the modeling amps rely heavily on programming, so a schematic of the electronics may or may not be helpful in troubleshooting a firmware issue.
20 years ago, they were of at least some help because we still had many discreet components/chips, but things are moving closer and closer to all-in-one chipsets.
In 5-10 years, we will probably be at the point that the only discreet components we see on the boards are the I/O interface and power supply support structure. We are getting very close now... take a look at some of the board shots from the new Tonemaster amps.

You can still test/troubleshoot the other stages of the amp and bypass the DSP stages. All of the other DSP models are available I see no reason not to put the GT lineup on there as well. From the looks of it the GT lineup is likely to receive no further development since we not seen nor heard anything in over 12 months. I would hope I am totally wrong here and something is being worked on but I am not holding my breath. Thus I see no need to keep the schematics from the public at this point. I have messaged some Fender folks on Facebook since I really do not see them on here often and have not heard anything back yet. Hopefully will get some type of response in the next week or so, but that just might be wishful thinking :)

Really wish at least someone from Fender would let us know if this schematic will ever be available...
