For example, the Friedman model has a bunch of settings that are abbreviated and i cannot find anything that tells you what they do. I realize some are obvious like sat (saturation) but some aren't and some even seem to do little or nothing and i assume MIGHT do more when other settings are set differently. But i;d like to know what they all are so i don't have to experiment for hours to try and determine what they do. I suppose i could research the actual Friedman but my point is there are also many other settings in other areas like the effects that are not obvious and it would be nice to have print that i could look up anything i run into that has mysterious settings like this. Seems kinda wacky NOT to have a reference for them.

Yes, it's a good idea and would be useful for everyone.
I join you in this request to Fender (and probably others requests that you have posted /are posting in other topics): I'm thinking of buying a Gt100 in 1/2 months (also getting an evaluation of the precedent Mustang 3 Vers. 2.)

I'd like to third this. The current manual and addendum are fine for learning how to use the amp but terrible for learning the amp models and pedal settings.

It seems to me to be sort of aimed at people who are experienced with these sorts of settings. I'm not. So it frustrates me that there is no explanation of what Sag is... or bias... or the various settings on the pedals.

I could (and have) googled some of it. But its a pain when I could have the manual in front of me. It would save hours of tinkering!

You are right,
i want to add something saying that also in the precedent Mustang series amps what concerns Fender effects models include typical parameters that are not named the same as in other effects of the same family. An example, "Swell" in the reverb.
Also, some effects added in one of firmware updates before vers. 2, are not listed neither in the latest advanced manual nor in the addendum. Well, those additional effects you can find in the amp can be a surprise for a new owner undoubtedly but I think it would be the case to include all the effects, amps models and new features added. When i am intentioned to buy something, particularly electronic devices, one of the things i do in advance is download the full manual / brochure to understand what features i can expect from it.
