I am finding I can do nearly everything with the tone app remotely, but one thing I have to walk over to amp to do, is to save a preset I have tweaked and like, to the Favourites set list.

The other thing is to adjust the Master volume.

It may be possible to do these things, so I'd be happy to find out how, and if not, maybe Fender might consider adding them to the app.

In the upper right of the tone app if you have changed a setting is should have a small "save" up there. I tested this and made some adjustments to a preset from my phone, and saved, and they were reflected on the amplifier.

Now, I just downloaded the Tone Amp the other day, and I know there has been a firmware update for the amp recently. I just got mine used, the other day. You may need to update your Tone App?

Good luck!

Im liking this amp over the Mustang III I had a few years go, lighter, and lots of neat functionality that I will use. I don't like to go to the amp to change settings all the time since its across the room, and on a stand. I wish the display and whatnot faced forward, but *shrug*. I had a VHT 6 Ultra tube amp before this, but when my multi effect pedal died, I had just an amp and no effects at all. What a pain, so I got this while I warranty out my pedal. Im finding though that I can duplicate a lot of the same functionality, so other than having foot switches available to me on my G5N, I may not use it all that often. Ill have to try it through the Studio PreAmp preset to see how the amp reacts to it.

Yes but that does not save it to the Favourites list.

Ahh, sorry. On re-read I see that. My bad. Yeah, that would be annoying. I wonder about the master volume, though. When I messed with some presets and dimed the master volume in the preset it definitely changed the value on my amp. But I think I understand what you mean- not the 'master volume' for balancing the patch to others, but the overall master, right?

Id love to be able to move presets around on my phone, and Id love some different compressors to mess with, as well.

You can re-order presets in setlists, and you can duplicate preset to another location, then delete the first.
