Hello! I'm finally at a point where I'd like to get a newer modeling amp, but I just cannot give up the Deluxe 112 Plus sharp solid state tone that I'm accustomed to. I know most modeling amps are modeled after tube amps, but I'm wondering if anyone out there has found a Deluxe 112 Plus-like distortion tone? If I can find something very close (less warm / muted than a tube amp is what I prefer), I'm ready to jump to the Mustang.

Anyone else converts from the older 112 Plus?

Hello !
You're better off paying cash if you buy one. I think. They help you in Fender.

Try turning off all cabinet simulations. That might be the major difference you are hearing. They are both solid state so it shouldn't be a stretch.
