Sat in as the guitarist for a friend with his country band. They do older style country like Marty Stuart's band does. We had a blast. XLRs out to the PA. Amp as a monitor behind me. Used one of the new amp models and the modeled big bucks overdrive and an external TS9 THE WHOLE NIGHT! Two presets one with the OD, one without. I got a TON of feedback from the band, soundman and audience. They all said we sounded great. My guitar sat in the mix perfectly. Oh yeah, I just used one Tele the whole night. I have been invited back for thier next show also! Oh yeah, the sound man left my signal alone, no board EQ or volume raises or lowers needed! Loving this update. Have a very hard rock gig coming up Saturday night. Taking the Mustang GT100 for that one too.

That would be correct. I was asked not to post clips quite yet. That will come, just not yet.

That is truly amusing. Surely an attempt to build suspense. But as you can see (by how quiet this thread is), there is no suspense. Might as well let the cat out of the bag. Although I can certainly wait.

What I'd like to know is if this update is so good and if as fender has said several times on this forum that the GT is selling really well, why did they drop the price on them? The GT100 went down $50 everywhere. When is the last time u saw that on any amp thats selling well? I'm anxious to try this update, and i even put off selling mine just to try it out of extreme curiosity. But to me it sounds like fender is damage control mode. It just doesn't make sense no matter how u look at it.

Down At The Twist And Shout!

How did the Saturday hard rock show go? I think the Metalhead
is my favorite GT amp model.
Any Black Oak Arkansas at the show?
Cheers
