Hi I was wondering, did you do direct USB recording, or did you mic it? I'm curious how the direct recording works since the USB audio is only one way. I'm assuming you have to use the GT as USB audio input and then a non ASIO sound card as audio output on a Windows PC?

Thanks!

I tried for a long time to get USB recording to work but I was always getting crackling on the recording. In the end I went from the headphones into Focurite Solo.

Im using Windows 10 and think my pc was the culprit, tried to chase down the latency issue and I suspect my laptop soundcard.

I also tried USB in from the Mustang using the focusrite as an external soundcard but then had huge latency problems.

I can't tell the difference in sound quality (not with my recordings anyway!!! :D ), if you want to record on windows I would go the headphone socket route.

The old Mustang amps had the ability to adjust the ‘USB Gain’. That could be the culprit too. See if that’s something you can adjust.

I really liked the song and the recoding quality is pretty dang good! Well done!

Try looking in the same place where you adjust SAG/BIAS. On the old series Mustang amps, it was found under 'ADVANCED AMP' settings.
