Does not seem like there are a lot of us android tone users, because I don't see many posts about problems with it. My GT100 seems to work great with apple based cell phones.(I have tried 2)
The problem is I do not own one and I do like my android moto x cell phone, witch is supposed to work with fender tone.(I have version 7+ android os) I am now passed the time when I could return my amp and so I am starting to get a little nervous. I do not think fender will spend resources to fix tone on android if they don't think a lot of us are having problems. I have spelled out my problems in an earlier post, so I will not repost the same info again. If you are an android tone user, please express any problems you might have, to help influence further development for android users. I can not even get tone to reinstall!(it thinks there is no fender amp, but steams just fine.) I really like this amp and would love to see a good working android tone interface...

The Tone coders have received tons of bug reports since the
first amps rolled off the assembly line, to little avail.
I'm not a coder, but I'll suggest a pair of changes:

1. Scrap the code, and a commission a new app coded by someone other than
current employees.

2. If the coders are all beloved relatives of Leo, at least simplify their lives and target
just three android devices, the three best sellers of suitable size and spec, and make that
as obvious to new GT purchasers as the original pack of lies that was printed on
the first run of boxes.

(Fender could actually buy the devices, and sell them preconfigured,
so customers could just get on with making music, rather than squandering
their few short hours on the blue marble trying to overcome
both coding and marketing incompetance)

It's my opinion that some offices need to be rearranged with a two iron...
and that nothing will change for the better in the interim.
History is the truth.

I use Android and haven't had a problem for several months. I forget which update finally made it full featured, but it's been a while. That said, I rarely use it. I've found Twin Reverb and 59 Bassman presets that work for me and rarely do anything other than switch between the two.

I haven't noticed any major issues besides a minor annoyance connecting sometimes. As in it will be listed in my phone as a connected device for media but that means it won't connect in the app to control the amp. It only takes 30 seconds to correct though then seems all fairly hassle free after that.

Having said that this is my first Mustang and have only had it a few weeks so maybe there's functionality I don't even know I'm missing!

OK, to be clear. If I reset my amp, it will work like yours does, but if I make any changes, it will fail. Try it! I'll bet your fails too. Anything you change that makes the save button light up, seems to hang up the amp.
