Is there a Wah effect that is adjustable with the Tap button? The touch wah seems pretty useless, and the envelope filter isn't much better. Seems like it would be a perfect effect to use with the Tap feature, but I can't find a way to do it. Is it possible?

I made some headway with the Touch Wah by turning the Min all the way down, the Max all the way up and then cranking the volume knob on my guitar all the way up.

Still wish there was a way to adjust the wah tempo with the Tap button, but it doesn't seem possible?

I thought the Touch Wah in the old v1/v2 Mustangs was pretty useful, have they ruined it?:

And I thought "Touch Wah" and "Envelope Filter" were the same effect. They are 2 different things on the GT amps? How are they different?

Why not just get the EXP-1 expression pedal? Then you can have a actual wah pedal PLUS use it to control any parameter you want in the effects and amp models. You can set it to control the amp's gain for example and set the toe and heel positions to be where ever you want the gains lowest and highest points. You have the ability to use it as a volume pedal too, and switch between parameter and volume with the toe switch. I mean, if a wah is at all important to you, why not buy a EXP-1 for about the cost of a wah (probably less) and not only now have what amounts to tempo control and everything else as the wah goes, plus be able to control anything else on the amp you want too? They really are super useful for anyone who is into versatility.

Totally would, but unfortunately had a spinal cord injury after a car accident so can't use pedals any more. I'm stuck controlling everything with my hands, so in that regard the Mustang GT is right up my alley since I can control straight from the app on the couch, which is why I wish there were more Auto Wah options.

The Touch Wah isn't so bad now that I'm messed with it more. I just wish it wasn't entirely dependent on attack volume for the wah effect. I'd like to be able to use the Tap button to set it to a tempo for songs like Voodoo Chile, etc. otherwise it can be kind of inconsistent sounding.

Yes, they added the Envelope Filter as a separate effect in the October firmware update. Here's the description for it: "Automatic wah effect inspired by the temple-of-funk 1970s popularity of the mighty Mu-Tron III pedal"

I'm thrilled they added it in, but again just wish it was tweakable with the Tap button. Seems like a missed opportunity to really make it cool and more flexible.

ah so I guess Envelope Filter is kind of like saying "Band-Aids" instead of 'adhesive bandages'. It's brand/product specific.

I don't see why they couldn't add tap tempo to the effect via an update.
