Is it possible to change the master volume in the tone app? Can't seem to find it. Since there is a wide difference in volume between the presets, this seems like a must-have feature for the app.

Balance the relative volume of presets with the 'Volume' control not the Master Volume. The Volume control is next to the Gain control.

Thanks for the reply and tip. With that in mind, how high do you keep the Master? Seems like I get a fair amount of hiss/buzz if I turn it up past half, so maybe I should keep it there and then just crank the presets up?

The Volume control should be as high as possible, if a preset is too loud (high gain), back it off a little. The Master Volume control level is not saved in presets and is not accessible via the tone App. You would set this at an appropriate level for the environment - bedroom, stage etc. There is another volume control that is not so obvious, that is in the Parametric EQ Filter. If you ignore the tonal parts, you still have a volume control that can be used to balance presets. If you are getting noise, use the noise gate to cut it off for quiet passages.

Have you set the noise gate level on your patches that are noisy?

I have. It works good for the most part, but for cleaner/quieter stuff you can hear it swelling with each pick. It's fine as long as I keep the Master Volume under half though.

Thanks for the tips, especially about the Parmetric EQ as an extra volume. That's a really cool trick.
