Yes im desperately trying to get my nook up to date its such a shame beautiful screen and abundant space I want to get it to work and it seems easy enough bbuuuttt, I have tried doing the video on my nook as instructed I mean its seems to easy and I got all the stuff and files moved from the drop box to my laptop then to a micro sd card and put the files onto the sd card put when I put the SD card in an boot the nook nothing happened, it just booted like it normally does, im am better then average at figuring out computer but no wizard around them like many of you guys on here I actually learn a lot by your guys conversations, but I eventually gave up out of frustration, maybe ill try again but I have WINWRAR and know how to do all that but following the steps on video I just cant seem to get it to boot to that black screen that updates the whole system. Any ideas? I just drag files from folder to folder does copy an paste do something that allows things to work better or should it work regardless? I would be so THRILLED to have the nook run tone cause ive seen many people get it working with the same model I have so I know it can work. just not the best at troubleshooting stuff like this. I will say the two links you sent aren't the ones I used before so maybe I can get somewhere with these ones. even though one the link has a one of the steps links blocked or deleted, im unsure whether that's a crucial step or not.

I am for apple and keeping up with technology is like trying to outswim a dolphin in water, lol hard to keep up literally everyday seems to be almost revolountionary breakthroughs but I wish companies that left the nook consumers totally hanging and now apple would allow a bigger price reduction to get you upgraded or whatever they are making plenty enough to afford to keep everyone up to date, I just think its wrong not their fault totally but I think they could do more to help loyal customers instead of leaving them with useless technology an another big investment to get another replacement, just to be told in 3 years that one will be stone age as well. lol I guess that's the whole point of wall street, but obviously not the most generous way to go about things, not to mention fixing these flimsy products cost half of retail price!!!!

So can you update a old ipad mini the same way as you can the nook?? and you guys think my best bet is booting the nook? hopefully I can get it working....itll be just my luck if I get it to work an tone app still doesn't work right......loll

A polished GT version of the Fender Floor seems like a no-brainer, to me.Cheers

As I have said before wild horses could not drag my old Fender Floor from me. It just works and works well with most all of its functionality a hoof step away. ;-)

I play live often and use a good dozen plus presets. My first Bank gets the most use with 1Clean, 2Crunch, 3Solo and those three handle lots of tunes but I still need several more covering Wah presets, Acoustic guitar, chorus/phaser,

Um, it's all posted earlier in the beginning of this post. Look for blue text. I had to mod the footswitches for how I play live. There's no time to keep pressing the FS to change banks between tunes on stage so I had to do something. These days I'm working on getting a spare Android phone nailed to the mic stand to do patch changes using only the Fender Tone app and just a finger but that's so not ready for primetime. I envy those guys who can last all night with one patch and a few on-off stomp effects. I want to sonically do the most with the least equipment.
