My New Mustang GT100 is a mess now. It takes so long to do anything with the scroll wheel, it won't pick more than half the stompbox effects, (skips over to every 4th one it seems when trying to scroll and pick them out to add to a patch... I am absolutely sick of this stuff. I bought this after loving a Mustang III. Now this one actually does seem to sound better, but its function is absolutely nill... I can't believe FENDER has done this with this amp now... Sick over it. I would like a refund, the amp won't do what it says and Fender says it WILL DO...

Now this morning, the amp is cutting itself off after playing it for about 6 or 7 minutes.. This is a GT100. What is up with it?

Have you tried doing the "full" update process? Sometimes the normal update process goes awry and can be fixed by the full update. (Hold down the encoder button + the middle button on the right side of the screen while turning the amp on, until the "Mustang GT" logo appears. It will take several minutes but seems to be much more robust than the standard update process.)

I did have to do this once before. I had forgotten about this process, to be honest with you though. I will try this now... Thank you!

I am sorry I didn't get back to this sooner. The full update process did nothing to alleviate the problems. Fender Tech Support, do you have ANY ideas???

At the risk of stating the obvious, have you called or emailed Fender Tech Support? This forum is not tech support; it's user-to-user. You're definitely having a significant issue; you should contact tech support directly.

I did early on when it wouldn't connect to Bluetooth. I will have to find the number and call them again. I LOVE the sound of the amp... It's functionality at present for me at least is problematic at best! Thank you!!!!!!

riffy, VERY sorry to hear about your issue(s) but as noted above, this isn't the right venue for unit-specific issues and/or reaching Tech Support directly. Definitely need to get in touch with our customer support team directly if you haven't already:

Mustang™ GT and Fender Tone™ app support:
https://tone-support.fender.com/hc/en-us

Submit a ticket here:
https://tone-support.fender.com/hc/en-u ... _id=181566

Again, definitely hope we're able to get things sorted for you!
