Hi, Can anyone recommend some beginners settings for an electro acoustic classical on the GT40? (I also have an nice sounding electric guitar with the GT40 and I am happy with the GT40 presets for this - at present.)
Thanks for any suggestions.

An acoustic guitar is best amplified with a fairly flat response, which is something that regular guitar amps can't do. On the Mustang, there are two ways to get a flat response. One is to use the Studio Preamp with no speaker emulation but I have found that the Studio Preamp has low gain when used on its own. You could try sticking a booster in front of it to get a bit more omph. I have a couple of nice acoustics, a Martin and a Taylor. The Martin had a Fishman Undersaddle plus an internal microphone and the Taylor, a Fishman Matrix. When I amplifly these through my GT100, I use a Fishman Platinum pre-amp into th AUX-in. The preamp gives the level boost that I need plus fine tuning of the EQ. I also have a Boss VE-8 Acoustic Singer unit and both guitars sound very good through that. I have asked Fender to provide an acoustic guitar model and a graphic/parametric equaliser pedal in some future update.
