Hi All,
I own a GT-100 & recently purchased a EXP-1 Pedal to use with it on stage, which is telling me to set it up using Fuse.....only Fuse doesn't seem to recognize my GT-100 being plugged into the PC, hence I can't do anything that it's telling me I need to do to set up the Pedal!
Have I just become a technological dinosaur overnight, am I doing something hideously wrong or is there some kind of trick I need to do that I am missing?

Your help would be greatly appreciated, O more knowledgeable ones than I (insert grovelling here!)

Kind Regards

Andy

The GT-100 does not work with Fuse. The pedal works with the old Mustang series (which used Fuse) and the new series. Here is the manual http://www.fmicassets.com/Damroot/Original/10001/231010_Mustang%20GT%20manual%20ENG%207712493000a.pdf, go to page 41 and it tells you how to setup the EXP-1 with the GT-100.

I would be VERY interested in hearing your thoughts on a couple things once you get it working. 1-if you also have the 4 button and you use that and the EXP1 at the same time, do you find this causes the 4 button to occasionally be very buggy? freezing so the buttons don't work, wierd things happening like tuner coming on even when you only hit the last button and not held it down for a few seconds, etc etc. When i remove the exp1 from the picture it seems like the 4 button no longer goes wacky. I could be wrong because i only discovered this yesterday but so far no craziness like usual. Time will tell but i;d like to hear what you find. It happens randomly and can work fine for a time so see how it goes over time. 2-do the exp1's LEDs go wacky? Even when using mine WITHOUT the 4 button switch, when i switch modes the the LEDs will sometimes both go off at the same time, both on, or not switch at all even tho the mode did switch.

If you find any of this to be the case please document it here because i have told fender about this but because so few people have the EXP1 they haven't heard any complaints like my issues. If they see it;s truly a problem they will work on fixing it. So if you or anyone else with a exp1 and 4 button experience this please document it here.

I've used the EXP-1 and MS-4 together with the GT-100 since it first arrived. My MS4 LEDs have shown all the issues you stated exactly as you've described. I have not removed the EXP-1 to check if that solves the issues since I need and depend on the pedal for every patch (mostly Volume). The only reason I'm not going crazy is the patches are still being selected correctly even if the LEDs are in Buggy mode. I usually cycle the Mode switch back to MODE 1 Quick Access and hit QA1 and that brings it back to it's senses. I mostly use MODE 2 and use 10 banks of three patches which is still too much toe tapping for a gig but that's another story.

Read my same concerns in my post 'Setlist Feature.....Why?', complete with a possible solution that I hope & pray that Fender will take on board then implement?

Thus far, I have only experienced a little bit of weirdness just the once, (yesterday)...but will keep an eye on it & let you know of any other incidents.
