Hi, new member here.
I have a Chinese Squire standard strat dated 2009. It is left handed .
I am going to do a complete upgrade, pups, pots, tuners and trem bridge. The bridge is the problem, the original
has 2 screw studs and the screws are 60mm centers The strings are the standard 53mm ( 2 1/8 inch)
I cannot find any left hand trem bridges that will fit. The only one that would have done the job is the Babicz
which has the screw position on one side open ended which allows for a slightly different screw position, but
Babicz do not make a left handed model.
I am thinking, maybe I should remove the posts and dowel the holes and refit a six point trem.
Does anyone agree with this or does someone know of a bridge that I have missed.
The world is a more complicated place when you are a lefty.
