Does Brad or any of the other fender staff know if the ipad will be the only tablet type device that can be connected to the GT. I am wondering if the Nooks, or various tablets will be able to download the app to I would ideally like to run the app through an ipad or tablet that hooks onto a mic stand live an run my rig from that. But unless you have and I-pad you are SOL right now. I wonder if this will change. You would think they would make it a PC available app as well.

Personally, I find it a lot more convenient to use my iPad than a laptop to control my GT-100. I have a microphone stand mount and I can use OnSong and Tone together. Unfortunately, it is not yet possible to run them side by side in split screen mode but iOS 11 should take care of that. I wouldn't want to use my MacBook Pro in a live situation although I know a lot of keyboard players do, but certainly not clipped to a mic stand :? The Android version of Tone got off to a slow start but it is catching up.

Although I can't disagree that my iPad is extremely convenient for controlling my GT200, I would still very much like to have the ability to also control and save to and from my mac (or PC).

This, for me, would be especially helpful when using my Mustang in the studio where my iPad is busy controlling Pro Tools.

Just my $.02
