Hey I just bought the Gt100 liking it alot only problem/issue I've been having is it won't seem to update gets to downloading step never reaches the applying stage so how long does this usually take?

Mine failed for two times right out of the box. Did another try couple of hours later and it worked. The whole thing took about 5 to 10 minutes. So I would advise to just try again, maybe at different times of the day.

I also had an issue the first time.

Look in the manual and follow the force update procedure. That should get you going.

One of the things that has been fixed in an update is WiFi connectivity issues. And because the only(!) way to update is through a WiFi connection, it may cause problems for some. If so, taking the amp to a different location with a different WiFi connection might be the only way to get it updated.

It would have been nice to be able to download an update and update through USB, both because of this catch-22 situation, and because the WiFi on the GT is quite limited, lacking support for 5GHz, two-factor authentication, group passwords, proxy servers, or long or international SSIDs.

I've had to use the forced update future to apply them.

Simply go to page 50 on the expanded manual.
