Is anyone else still having issues with the tone app? Mine is still a little glitchy with the app, and when I select a preset in the setlist the app just freezes and return me to my home screen? it was doing this before the updates, certain presets when selected just kick me back to my home screen? the Bluetooth connection is a little more solid it doesn't drop it nearly as much. When I got the firmware update I deleted and re-downloaded the tone app to see if that would help but no luck. All the other updates are pretty solid, and I definitely think the sound and overall tone of the amp has improved.

I've updated both the firmware and the app and although both are certainly improved in many ways, the app constantly keeps disconnecting after about a minute of use. So it's incredibly disappointing.
I returned my amp after my initial reaction to the poor android app functionality, then reconsidered and retrieved it in the hope that the promised upgrades would resolve my concerns.
There have been a number of suggestions for people to persevere and give Fender the opportunity to address the Android / Bluetooth issues. Fair enough...... I thought.
Despite all of that rhetoric, for me the damn thing won't work! Disconnecting constantly.......
So what now? I really don't know what to do.
The capacity to create and edit patches through an interface is very important to me, and more importantly is a promised function of the unit, but this 'significant' upgrade doesn't even provide reliable connection. Without a windows based option the problematic Android is my only option.
I am so disappointed..........

you know what's odd about that? I have 3 bluetooth speakers. 2 of them are cheap chinese-made crap. One has a voice with an Asian accent. "powa on" "bluetooth paiwed" But they all work flawlessly and never prematurely disconnect.

How I admire you. I cant even connect at all with Tone app. :(

On the other hand: its not rocket since. They will make it. Hopefully sooner than later...

Personally, I've never had an issue with that...

Sometimes I even choose a preset in my set list and the app will boot me off completely. Like just stop and kick me back to my phones main home screen. Very weird the blue tooth still drops a lot but the new way to reconnect is better atleast you can re-connect on any screen. Hopefully this will change soon with more firmware updates the reps and fender " who seem like genuine guys" say the updates will be coming out much faster now then the previous month wait for this last one.
