Been hard working day too. But I found time to try some changes using the updates.
I just come back from a rehersal and : yes the sound is slighly better than before.
The bassman said : "Whooooo what a wonderfull Peter Green sound!". Yessssss
EXP pedal is working better also.

Thank you Fender guys for this major step. Save As is a great feature.

For me, it is not important that there is always 200 presets. It is the same on many multi-effects like Boss GT, Boss Me, Line6 Pod, Digitech rp... The standard is 100 factory presets and 100 user presets. When you receive the engine, the 100 user presets = 100 factory presets. You can only manage the user presets.
Here we have the full range of 200 presets available. We can or not use them. It is just a choice.

With some small workarounds, we can now manage the amp.
I am sure that some user-friendly features will come like:
* backup/restore the presets
* reordering the preset in a set list
* scrolling a preset list with the encoder (like it is apparently now possible with the footswitch)

A nice to have for me will be a modelisation of the Fender Blues Deluxe (original edition). It is my tube amp and I like it. It will be fun to have it on my GT100.

Thank you guy for the improvments, for taking into account of our feedbacks. Thank you Brad for your involment in the forums and the news that you provide to us.

:D

Hey, congrats to Fender for all the great work here in a short amount of time. We really appreciate it.

One question and one dream…

Question: am I correct that when you turn off the amp and turn it back on, it always defaults to preset number one? I really would love it if it would remember what preset you were on before. Otherwise, I guess I will set my favorite to number one.

Dream: my favorite aspect of this amp is the looper, because now I have an all in one jam machine (see my other posts here for video examples and a list of feature requests). So I do hope they expand the capabilities for the looper, though I know that the other critical bugs and requests come first.

Exciting!
