Has anyone tried sharing a GT patch they've created? I've seen a fair number of posts about things like cabinets, and sag, and bias (which I don't understand yet) and how tweaks to these have opened up the sound. Would someone care to share a representative sample, so that we can do some of our own A/B testing? (that is, if the 'share' feature works!) Thanks!

I don't have a cel phone to do that but i posted some settings at a couple other forums i like and feel represent the GT's capability at east in one area. That being my preference of a distortion tone that also cleans up nicely when you roll the guitar down to 3-5. My main patch uses the 59' bassman but i think i'm liking this one better, at least with a strat. Might be ok with tele if you EQ it a bit, but at the moment i find the bassman better for tele. This one has the greenbox on by default but sounds good w/o it too. I'll try and describe some functions like those you said u don't understand in red. Try this with a strat with a rosewood neck if you have one. Might be ok with others but thats what i tweaked it with. Also, mine has a fairly hot humbucker in the bridge with van zandt vintage style singles in the middle and neck.

65 princeton:
gain 10
level 10
treble 6.9
mid 7.7
bass 1.0
cab 412GB I use this cab for most everything because to me it seems to have all the right stuff and none of the wrong stuff. It's big/full sounding and has no obvious peaks and valleys. If you use the default cabs on the models many will sound small and weak because in real like lets face it.....a princeton for example is in a tiny cabinet that will make any amp sound small and boxy. Good if you wanna replicate that, but i don't use the amp to model certain tones, i just use it as a palette to create tones i like with no regard towards copying anything. Cab sims are IMO the most important setting and has the biggest affect on tone.

sag "less" sag is supposed to replicate that squishy feel of a power supply thats being stressed. On the GT i find it best left on the lowest setting ("less") because otherwise it compromises touch dynamics too much

bias 0.0% Bias is supposed to replicate various stats of output tube bias. Personnaly i don't think of this setting in that way as much as i just set it to where it sounds best, and it also affects the gain of the patch to a degree.

greenbox: (on by default)
level 7.8
gain 1.0
tone 5.5
blend 10

reverb, large plate:
level 4.5
decay 7.9
dwell 5.8
diff 5.4
tone 1.0

Thanks, oczad! This will help me explore the amp features. If I have a chance to mess with it tonight, I will do so - and perhaps I will try to use the 'share' feature as I think my ios version of Tone is working properly.

If anyone else has a patch they've created specifically for the GT and uploaded, let us know!

(I believe patches can be downloaded using only a wifi-connected amp - correct?)
