Bluetooth works well enough, but it's prone to interference, especially from WiFi on the 2.4 GHz bands. A single 2.4 GHz WiFi transmitter pretty much blanks out 1/3 of the band that Bluetooth uses. (And guess what the only WiFi frequency that the GT supports is.)
That in itself can be overcome through Bluetooth's channel hopping. But four nearby WiFi access points on channels that partially overlap will interfere with Bluetooth on all channels, and Bluetooth use becomes very problematic with seriously reduced range.

The main concern with Bluetooth is that it's vulnerable to so many different attacks, including snarfing what's being sent, and denial of service attacks (from as far away as miles using a highly directional antenna). It's not something that should be relied upon on stage, where anyone in the audience might want to do a little electronic heckling just for the lulz.

I see that Marshall Code 50 users are complaining about BlueTooth connection problems too! It is NOT 'prefectly reliable.'

So I have the same issue as most the Bluetooth disconnects from the amp after a very short time. Well I should say partially disconnects, cause you can still play music through it you just cant save to make any changes to your amp or the presets until you are reconnected? Does anyone know if trying to re-download the update fixes this or know of any way of getting around this glitch? Or is it just simply a waiting game with the a new update patch? Also anyone notice that the headphone jack and the volume attached to it is way way way more quiet then the other stangs? I use to be able to get my headphones loud as humanly possible on the Mustang III for playing with backing tracks, now I can barely hear the backing tracks an be able to hear myself play through headphones, works great via just the speaker out loud but like I said the headphone and Auxiliary ports are unbelievably quiet especially compared to the previous models and Ive owned the Mustang II, III, and now GT 100, anyone else having this issue? or know if I can be fixed any other way other the via update to firmware?

I love my GT I think once the bugs are worked out this amp will be a steal! I have already joked with people and said it was a tubed amp and they really couldn't tell the diff till I showed them it was digital, played next to a real fender twin or other tubed amp yea mustang loses but by ever so slightly that if you are just beginning to play live and in small gigs and all that this amp is perfect to get you by for awhile till your budget can allow you something better, but honestly if the updates we get throughout the months are really quality updates this amp will do anything you want, I love how I can have so many " tricks" in the bag I can totally change the sound of my rig to where you would think I had multiple diff cabs. Its a fun amp for a beginning live artist, and really nice if you are into improv jam bands cause all the diff sounds and tones you can get, I just hope for some quality updates or find a way from the forums to fix those bugs I mentioned.
