There was some sort of conflict in the Bluetooth/GT40 connection that wouldn't allow it to work. It would pair up but wouldn't play. So what I did to fix it was to go into control panel>Device Manager>Bluetooth and deleted the Mustang GT icon, restarted Windows and then tried once more to scan for BT devices, this time it found it and connected right away. It's playing really nice now.

I guess you gotta just work the bugs out.

Curious, is there a new icon where the now deleted one was?
If so, does checking it's 'properties' in a filemanager reveal
anything illuminating, or odd?

You certainly get a 10 out-of 10 score in my book
for not accepting defeat, and also for putting your money
where your mouth is. (For the kids in the crowd,
wise enough to even be here, that's an old-skool compliment!)

If only Fender had you on the team for beta testing,
the rollout might have been much smoother.
And your successes have probably sold a few dozen amps
to lurkers who were on the fence.

Earth to Fender: Mustang and GT owners unanimously agree:
beancounters really reallllyyy reallllllyyyyy suck at beta testing.

Cheers

Yes a new icon showed up. Nothing odd there though. I checked the settings page and it all crashed again, but now I know how to fix it. I fixed it a second time using the above instructions. It's definitely a Windows 10 problem. Not a problem with the GT40.

hmmm, out of curiosity I turned on the Code 25 amp's Bluetooth and it connected immediately and is working fine. The GT40 was disabled again this morning. Must be a weak driver or something.
