[EDITED: Original post title was "Windows 10 needs Miracast on device to work with Bluetooth."]

It's no wonder I can't get it to work. The Mustang GT shows up in Windows 10, pairs up, but no music comes thru. Looks like the Mustang GT will never work with a Windows based streaming device....because it doesn't have Miracast. So I've been wasting my time with Windows 10 for streaming.

Yes I can stream music into the Mustang GT with the iPod. Interesting.

I tried replacing the Bluetooth adapter with another one, different driver...and when I try to connect I get an error box that says my pc or mobile device doesn't support Miracast.....go figure. So no luck with the new adapter either.

I'm renaming title of this thread as it's a bit misleading - hope that's cool. Not 100% convinced (yet) that the issue you're reporting here is really GT-specific.

I'm not misleading anybody. I'm having major connection issues with Windows 10 and Bluetooth. Even my Windows 10 tablet won't connect without crashing my desktop.

The GT connects up fine with my iPod or my Tone app. The problem is definitely Windows 10. I'm getting similar problems with two different Bluetooth adapters.

I just upgraded the GT's firmware to 1.1.2 and now I can't open my settings from the Tone app.

Moderator fail!!! It happens every once in a blue moon. :? My apologies, as my phrasing was poor in that previous post. What I *meant* to say there was more along the lines of opening up the thread topic to speak more generally to Win 10 issues / see if anyone else is having difficulties with Win 10 / etc.

Don't worry about it. It's not my goal to beat up on the GT series of amps...myself and others are definitely having connection issues. I'm thinking that if we talk about it, we can help resolve these issues and get back to enjoying the amps. There's a lot of great features on these amps, lots of possibilities.....I'm not about to give up over a few Bluetooth connection problems.

Thanks and totally makes sense! I noted your comment re: 1.1.2 above as well and will pass that along.

Now today I CAN open my settings with the Tone app. Go Figure...yay !! Maybe the amp or app needed to be restarted a couple of times which I did....
