I've been working on the GT40 all day....first off getting my Blue tooth devices working...they worked for a while then quit, not sure what's wrong there....Got the 4 button pedal switch today, got the tuner working and a couple of presets....decided to enable my computer for Bluetooth....went to 4 stores and came home with a new iPod Touch. Spent the evening getting that set up, upgraded to 10.3 (?) ....what a pain with password problems...finally got set up with the iTunes store and downloaded the Fender Tone app, set that up, registered the amp and checked out settings, upgraded the amp, and downloaded Santana's settings....time is 2:42 AM.... everything gave me a hard time all night but I managed to get everything working except the Blue tooth stuff. I do like the Tone program so far, just gotta learn how to use it....gotta learn how to use the iPod too.. and the foot switches...

I'm glad too. The Tone app is a very cool app. I like upgrading my amp, I like adding presets.....that's cool....I've never had an iPad or iPod before so this is all new to me. It's interesting....the iPod was about $100 bucks cheaper than the iPad, so I went for it. It's an interesting device. and even more so with the Fender Tone app on it.

Well, well, well, I didn't think about it, but the iPod has Bluetooth capabilities. I was messing around with the Soundcloud app, and my music started playing thru the Mustang GT40 !!! I was pleasantly surprised by this !!! I didn't even think about the iPod being a Bluetooth device....awesome !!!!

So now that I know it supports Bluetooth, I was wondering if it would support a Bluetooth keyboard ?? Nope, it has to be an Apple Bluetooth keyboard...so I ordered one, because my fat fingers are just a little big for the tiny keyboard on the iPod. :)

Thanks but it's too late, I already ordered the keyboard from Amazon.

Good news, I'm making good progress with the Tone App. I was able to upgrade my amp's firmware, and downloaded David Gilmore's "Shine On" preset....sounds great !!!!!!

I'm still very much in the learning phase with this app, but it's coming along.
