and I mean that in the true sense of the word.
Picked one up yesterday morning and have been working with it almost non-stop.
Set up was a breeze.
Fender Tone app worked first time.
Downloaded several presets and they are outstanding.
The little amp really sound outstanding with my Les Paul loaded with Duncan WLHs.
The amp and effects provided are excellent, as good or better than the ones on my Boss GT-001.
The Bluetooth MP3 music is high quality stereo sound.
For a little over 200 bucks this thing has absolutely no equal on the market today.
Only thing I miss is Fuse connectivity and that really is something Fender should put on the fast track to getting released. The phone app is good but just not as easy to use as a desktop app.

Thanks for the feedback here. I'm admittedly a little jealous - just ordered a GT40 myself but hasn't arrived yet! :-)

Great to know, mines on order too. Have a Mustang V2 at moment
Are you able to demo tones from online?
I understand ALL Fuse tones are compatible via the Tone app.
Rather than Fuse being available I am hoping a new app will come available soon for the iPad with better graphics along the lines of Ine 6 mobile Pod or Amplitude etc.
Really excited as returned an Amplifi which is similar but just failed to work with the app. I think Fenders wifi connection will be better than Line 6 which uses Bluetooth to program the amp
Can't wait for it to arrive. Well done Fender, exactly what I wanted

Yes you can audition them or load them from the "cloud presets" menu it's very cool. I haven't tried the fuse presets yet

Awesome! Congrats, and look forward to your thoughts when yours arrives! Mine is going to be my "office amp" here at Fender - i.e., something I can crank up after-hours and on weekends, etc.

Even though I'm somewhat of a tube purist for playing "live" I do have an interest
in these and will be checking them out.

That's great, Mike! Same statement applies here - I'll be sticking with my tried and true Super-Sonic 22's live. But ... tough to deny that there's a ton of bang for the buck in these GT's. I'm looking forward to putting my GT 40 through its paces!

Perssonally while i have been a tube snob for many years and would have never thought to use a SS amp live, the mustang V2 changed that for me. That amp was a bit off tonally at stage volume but when i began using a EQ it was great, and i swear it was better then any of the many tube amps i've owned in my life because of the tonal consistency. I enjoyed it more then even the best tube amps i've owned because i rarely had to worry about my amp sounding great one nite and bad the next. And they just WORK great. What i mean by that is they cut thru right and allowed me to play rather than constantly thinking about whats off with my tone that nite and what knob i should reach over and try and get it right. The mustang just WORKED.

That said, i don't play out much anymore but when i do i fully expect the GT to surpass the MIII tonally in several ways and not even need a EQ to do so. Brad, you need a GT100 or 200 so you can try it. Those supersonics are good, i've played thru em. But i think the mustang will surprise you how good they can be in a band context, not to mention your back will thank you !

Yes! It is awesome. I've had mine for a week and every time I use it for a while I have to continually glance over at it to make sure I'm still playing something so small. It's really fun and easy to put together different setups and it sounds great.

Yes, I admit I've honestly been eyeing a GT 100 too ... think I might have to take the plunge. :-)

OK, my GT 40 arrived today!

I have unpacked, configured the WiFi, and played around for about an hour.

Updates have been downloaded and installed.

linked with Bluetooth from my Windows 10 laptop and I am currently jamming to April Wine.

So far NO problems, knock on wood.

I am lovin' it.... where's my CryBaby.......... :D

Just picked mine up from GC yesterday. I didn't even know about the GT series, I went in there to check out the V2 Mustang amps and was plunking around on a 1V2 for about 20 minutes when one of the sales kids came by and asked if I had any questions. I told him what I was looking for and what I wanted to do with the box. He asked if I'd checked out the GT yet and I made the mistake of saying "what's that??"

Took a little bit to get it set up on WiFi (I have a 5Ghz network, had to create a 2.4 SSID) and of course the Android app is still a work in progress so that was disappointing, but the amp sounds great! My Strat sounds so much better than through my Boss GT-1. Night and day difference.

I wish the USB audio was full duplex, I'm going to have to work around that in my DAW (Sonar) and of course wanting parity with the iOS version of Tone app, but those are my only two gripes. I knew after they told me all the bells and whistles and the fact that it had only been out for a week or so that there were going to be growing pains, but the sound this thing makes override any negatives I have!
