They're going on 1.5 years on this platform, right? Now is about the time they abandon making your product better so they can concentrate on the next amp they're going to sell you. If they made this amp line perfect, you'd never upgrade, right?

As long as it's easier to noodle with new gear,
than to practice rigorously, the marketing department
has hope. For some people, playing music is an activity,
but not a passion, and that's fine.

But when the people running a (legendary) brand name accept just being active,
rather than persuing a passion, the results will speak for themselves.
A parade of products left incomplete, and far under their potential.

Oh wait! a new product announcement?! Fender announce the great new MeeStung,
the worlds first 3d hologram amp, making sound appear out of the vapours,
and upgradable vapours, at that!

Cecause getting stung once and twice and thrice just wasn't enough...

looking towards the next version, a smart move would be to figure out how to be on all platforms. What about an app for Chrome browser?

First there was a PC app for Mustang v1/v2 and everyone said they wanted a Bluetooth app. So Fender made a Bluetooth app for Mustang GT and now everyone wants a PC/MAC app. Chrome browser runs on all of the above and more.

I think people wanted the bluetooth/wireless, but without losing
the original computer connectivity. A Chrome app that runs on
computers, phones, tablets etc would certainly make sense.
I'd rather buy something that works, than futz with whatever the
Tone app coders cook up next.

If Fuse is a dead project, Fender might as well open-source the code.
Lot's of Mustang I, II, III, IV, V, Floor, G-Dec, and SuperChampXL users might
see that as good-will, when fondling their credit cards prior to
a brand selection at the shops.
Someone might take it on as a project
to benefit the community, and make a little side income.
Enough to buy a used pickup, a new dog, take the little woman
out dancing, and upgrade the compiler box...

I purchased my Mustang GT40 yesterday, boy was I dissapointed to find that Fuse would not connect. I was even angrier when I discovered that due to the Mustang series being totaly revamped Fuse simply did not support them. Then to add to my annoyance I discovered the tone app requires a newer android operating system than my current phone. I AM NOT BUYING A NEW PHONE JUST TO RUN THE TONE APP!

So can you please create a windows based application that will give me full access to my amps capabilities. I don't want to use a phone app. The screen is to small and the whole thing to much hassle!

Please upgrade Fuse or write a completely new application. Mustang GT buyers are being short changed!

I just got a Mustang GT-100 to replace my Mustang I v2 which I no longer have.

I was a pretty disappointed to discover that the GT series do not work with Fuse. Whilst it was a bit clunky and at times annoying (logging me out and not saving my login details), it had some good features and a reasonably navigable interface. I just opened the Tone app on my phone and found it extremely unintuitive and trying to navigate was frustrating. I ended up accidentally saving new settings to presets because I couldn't find my way back and the app was forever refreshing itself, like every other preset scroll.

I had also just got into playing with band tracks and as far as I can see, that has been abandoned.

So, I would also like to see an application for Mac (in my case) and a native iPad app which would give a bit more screen space to allow better navigation.

Any word on if this is going to happen or not? I was pretty bummed when I found that I had to use my phone to control the amp. Even if its USB only that works and BT is not an option I'd be fine with that.

need a tone app version for windows. id like to be able to make adjustments, add effects etc with a mouse on my large monitor. using a phone is not much better than using the little lcd and the dials on top of the mustang amp, and that is a pain. it is difficult to visualize the signal chain on a little phone screen, and it makes tweaking the amp a pain in general.
the old mustangs had fuse, which was used from the desktop.
you are going backwards fender and the lack of a desktop app to control the mustang gt makes me less likely to use it. lately i've been playing directly into the computer via interface and using th3 modeling sofware because it is much easier to create and play with amps and tones.
Desktop Tone App ASAP.
