Is it planned, being worked on? I use Fuse on windows,
and Plug on linux, and a full editor on desktop computers
would be a real plus for my next hardware purchase.

Plug is a Debian based linux editor that can access
all the old Mustang's assets, in a simple but effective gui.
It's available as a package in the main debian repositories.
Cheers

Not sure of specific plans (or lack thereof) but will definitely pass this feedback along to the product team!

Add me as a user that would like a Mac/PC app for editing, saving, loading, reordering and backing up presets for the GT's too.

yes, BIG time. Any app no matter how simple to save your preset to PC and to be able to rearrange them on the amp is needed desperately.

Yes Windows 10 and everything goes thru the USB cable, NO Bluetooth !!!!!!!!!! Bluetooth is too finicky and must be restarted everytime you turn on the amp...pain in the neck.

I've been fighting with Bluetooth on my pc all night...it's horrible.

I would settle for just being able to control the amp via bluetooth through my PC, though since older mustangs had the capability to use USB, I have to shake my head a bit at removing it from the GT100, one of the most 'connected' amps out there. Yes, I can use my phone, but much of the time im at my computer watching Youtube tutorials, etc, and I like my much larger monitor, so being able to see the controls of the GT100 there would be a lot easier for me. Don't get me wrong, the Tone app connectivity for me has been more stable than those offerings by Marshall Code, for example, but still, my phone is still a much smaller piece of real estate to work on.

The Marshall must be bad then because even with the latest firmware, the Tone app has plenty of problems still. It's usable, just.

I'm still mostly wanting a true iPad app. Functionality-wise, Tone pretty much does what I want, but using the larger screen of an iPad would be nice. My iPad is my go-to device for music anyway.

That being said, for Macs at least, there may be an alternative in the near future: Apple is developing tools ("Marzipan") to make it extremely easy to port iOS apps to macOS. The functionality is in beta now, but when officially released in the next several months, would enable porting Tone to macOS very quickly. One developer who's tried it reported getting an application with over a million lines of code ported in less than a day. Not as good as a dedicated macOS application, but half a loaf is better than none...

I just bought the GT40 amp (a fantastic device), and greatly miss a real big screen application.
Desperat enough to run the Tone app on my PC via TeamWiever to TeamWiever Android host! It actually works and it is free for non commercial usage...
Slightly beter than nothing.
Take Care

i never used Fuse, but I really like the boss tone studio for my GT100 multieffects. something like that for the Mustang GT would be great.
