The Expo has two subwoofer speakers in each cabinet. Are they both dead or distorted or just one of them? Are you sure that the 6.5" speaker is blown, or could it be that the power amp built into the speaker cabinet that drives the subwoofer may be fried? Have you done any testing to isolate the problem?

Since the Expo is a "powered speaker", that means that the cabinet includes a power amp for the subwoofer, a power amp for the low-mid, a power amp for the high-mid, and a power amp for the tweeter, and crossover circuitry to split the input signal to the different power amps (or it has two crossover circuits -- one to split between the bass amp and the main amp, and one to split the output from the main amp among the low-mid, high-mid, and tweeter -- I'm not sure which way this was designed...).

In other words, it's not just a speaker cabinet. It's kinda complex. This might not be something you can fix with a solder gun and no testing. You really need to isolate the problem before you know for sure which component needs replacing.
