Hi :)
My name is Johnny and I'm from Denmark. My main hobby is guitars and tubeamps.
If I had spend as much time practising guitar playing, as I do tampering in them with a soldering iron, I might actually be able to play the darn things well

In the Fender family I have a Fender Blues Deluxe and a Squier Standard Telecaster.
I have a couple of other guitars too.

This week I just finished upgrading/modifying my Blues Deluxe. A task I could not have completed without the lurking in this great community!

Of course the Telecaster did not escape the soldering iron. I upgraded the pickups to Fender CS Nocaster pickups, replaced the pots with CTS, and added a 4 way switch.

I was born when Elvis was serving his country, raised on Radio Luxembourg and British bluesrock.
Yeah kind of old, and old school when it comes to gear.

Welcome! I've been to your beautiful country. Billund, then a quick trip out to Fano island for a really nice dinner with colleagues.

I enjoyed it a lot, and I'm sure I'll be back one day soon!

Good to have you on board, Johnny.

Here's another Dane I was introduced to:

When I was in my 20s smoking was all the rage in my workplace. Alone in the studio with Victor Borge in his woolen country suit with his knee high pants, I had just lit a cigarette prior to his arrival. As we had to wait for others, I decided to offer him a cigarette as a courtesy. He then accepted, thanked me, put up his hand and shook his head no when I offered the lighter, and quickly put the cigarette in his breast pocket with his amiable smile. I didn't ask why. That would have been rude. The interview began and ended, and the cigarette remained in his pocket until he exited the studio. Moments later, the studio door cracked open, Victor poked his head through with cigarette in hand, and with a wink and smile he said, "Thank you. But, I really don't smoke. I do like to have one once in a while, however." And with that he closed the door leaving us in stitches.
