Hi everyone! I am glad to be here. After accumulating a 2013 Jeff Beck Strat, 2014 John Mayer Strat, an Eric Johnson Strat, a 1988 USA Strat, and a Telecaster I thought it was about time to join this forum. Also I just picked up a 1973 Dual Showman Reverb. I have definitely become more of a Fender player than a Gibson player even though my R7 (57 RI Les Paul) and my SG are not going anywhere:) Like I said, glad to be here with fellow Fender lovers and hope I can contribute and hope that I can learn a few things. Nice to meet everyone!

Hello "lovehifi".
I'm just north of you in North Carolina.
You will find a lot of great info here from guys who really know Fender.
I am a Fender player as well but also play a Gibson & a couple Ric's.

Welcome! :)

Welcome Lovehifi, I'm also just to the north of you near Charlotte NC. I lived in SC in and around Charleston for about 6 years. I used to visit Myrtle Beach often, but less frequently since they tore down the Pavilion. Used to go there to play pinball, ski ball and other games in the arcade and then sit on an open air bench on the top floor outside the Magic Attic overlooking the street eating frozen lemonade and watching the idiots on Ocean Blvd. That went on for 40 years of good times. Over now, but won't forget it.

It is hard to visit MB without giving money to the people who tore down the Pavilion so I just don't go as often and try my best to avoid Burroughs & Chapin Company properties when I do. They own so much at MB it is hard to avoid their properties, but I try. They must own about 50% of the place.
