Just quickly popping in to say hi to everyone. I'm a new owner of a Mustang 3 v2, and loving it so far.

I'll no doubt be dropping in here occasionally and asking silly questions as I feel my way around the various functions of my new amp. (So I apologise in advance). I've already found a few really helpful threads in this forum, so I'm off to explore some more.

Cheers.

Greetings Sir Lurkalot! Welcome to Ye Olde' Forum. I just got a new Mustang V2 amp and I'm really impressed. Lots of amp for the money!

brotherdave, thanks for the welcome.

I hooked the Mustang up to my laptop for the first time last night, looks good so far. I will have to spend some time getting my head around all the settings etc.

I'm in the same boat. I have installed the Fuse, Ableton and Amplitude softwares. High learning curve here. So we are in the same boat

Sure is a steep learning curve. ;) I haven't installed Ableton yet, as I was advised by a mate of mine not to bother and use something else instead. I have Cubase installed, and Reaper. I might give it a go just out of curiosity though.

Also I have the full version of AmpliTube 3 already, so don't suppose I'll be installing the fender one. Or should I?

Reaper is probably more robust than Ableton.
I wouldn't install the Fender Amplitude version if you have the full version.

When I first fired up Ableton, (which I have now installed out of curiosity) I was quite alarmed at how complicated it looks compared to Reaper. I'm going to play with it a bit and check it out though.

As for the Fender AmpliTube stuff, I entered the serial number in my AmpliTube 3 authorisation manager, and it's added all the Fender stuff to my setup, so I'm happy with that. 8)

Forums gone through a big update I see. Looks nice, but found it a tad confusing getting logged back in tbh.

Glad you found your way back. It helped that I dropped some bread crumbs! Did have to change my password though.

Thanks. This forum is a nightmare atm to be honest. I accidentally clicked the sign out button, and just spent the last half hour trying to get logged back in. Tried the password reminder but it said my email address wasn't on the system. Only thing I could do was create a new account, which is what typing this reply with.
