Satisfied new owner of the Mustang V2 head, and also new to modelling amps, have been active semi-professional musician since early 90`s. I have always been used to tube-amps and stomp boxes/effectboards. The Mustang V2 sell for a very reasonable price even in Norway! Fender Fuse is brilliant, controlling things from the pc works great. Most important is that it is loud, cuts through easy over drums in metalstyled music. - I am the drummer in several bands, but lately also have the honor of doing second guitar (rythm) in songwriting processes and in studio.

He Kobro, Wow those are two very different styles of music on the links you posted. The Green Carnation work is very Pink Floyd-ish and I like it the best. The other metally. I have a Mustang V2 also and it has more tonal options than I'll ever use! I just got it to mess around with at home for fun, I'm really a bassist but not much going on for me bass-wise so I'm expanding my horizons messing around with guitar and ukulele. Hard to find anyone wanting a 60 yr old bassist around here.

Thank you Brotherdave! Yes, I posted two examples of my work. I have done many various styles and bands the last 25 years, from In The Woods/Green Carnation prog/metal to playing black metal in Carpathian Forest since 1998 plus session works and sideprojects. I am definitly a rock/metal musician by heart. Here in Norway skilled bass-players dont grow on trees, and the importance of skilled (and disiplined) bassists and drummers make the difference of great bands and not so good bands imo. Age means nothing, experienced musicians know how to compliment eachother for the sake of the music and songs beeing skilled without the need for show off is crucial. Music is soul and passion and for me playing with older and more experienced musicians is very enjoyable and highly educational. I have been playing since age 11, will be 40 next year and still have so much more to learn..
