Hello and Greetings. My name is Lunarpup. :D I'm very new here, having spent the day trying to register my Mustang V v2 head, v2 4x12 speaker cab, and EXP-1 petal. LOL That has been quite an experience that will flow into the next several days. FUSE and Amp ain't talking either. LOL Will not dwell on this.
I've been playing for about 50yrs off n on. Started as a "lefty", but right hand became arthritic, preventing good control. I've been "playing" right handed since '74. Still learning hehehehe
I'm 61, going on 16, hehehe Hence the "user name: Lunarpup, "Justa old Moondog who thinks he's still a young pup. I live in Arizona, with a home in New Mexico as well. Health reasons brought me to the desert, having moved here from DC in '75, I find the area very beautiful and inspiring.
Right now, I have a very old univox practice amp, peavey studio pro 40 and MY NEW Baby, the Mustang. The other two required much work to get them working proper, so I replaced them. hehehe (getting serious about plugging in again after a long time of un-plugged playing.) Had a bassmaster head many yrs ago, which influenced my choice on new amp. Guitars I have now are a Tele semi-hollow thinline, (Mahogany body, maple neck n board. Picked her up in '73 and she's been my baby ever since... An Ibanez 370 (super Strat hehe) Ultra violet body, maple neck, rosewood board, "wizard" neck and Rose string lock down. Picked her up in late 80's, Like Tele better...LOL ) Have a couple acoustics as well. A custom made back packing model, and an Ibanez MW10. Both are very nice. :D I'm into just about all music, with acid rock, hard rock and R&B toward the top... Well, I guess I've been long winded enough for now.
Thank You for letting me introduce myself, I look forward to being a part of this community,
Much Love n Peace,
Da Pup

Thank You for the welcome... :D
I'm up north of Page, by Lake Powell. 1/2 mile from UTAH...lol Quite Lovely.
Been here about 14 yrs now n loving it. Also have a home in Portales, New Mexico. We use that as a get away. I've been spending a couple mons here and there fixing and painting. Thinking very much about turning back room into a music room. Hoping to get FUSE and Amp talking to each other soon,( getting : No Amp connected, at bottom left of FUSE)
The Mustang set I just got, v2 head & 4 button floor switch, v2 4x12 cab & EXP-1, alone has thrilled me to no end, to be able to extend it's capabilities, and record was a major selling point for me. Not only a GREAT amp, but software, pre-sets effects, etc,....WOW..>:o): PurRrRrr ummm*... Woof ...drool...lol

thanks again for the welcome,
Much Love n Peace,
Da Pup

Wow! That is very impressive... an ambidextrous player! That is amazing to me. I have a hard enough time trying to keep it straight playing "one" way & you've done both. Sounds like your passion has overridden any obstacles in your way. Keep that passion flowing!

My older son got married about a year ago...empty bedroom = great music room! Get that back room ready!

...Welcome!

Thank You,
It's been a long road learning right handed playing, brain just doesn't wanna work that way. lol I have managed to get everything working between amp n fuse, and have spent untold time exploring everything. Loving every second...LOL Still trying to figure out how to record using fuse...hehe
Thanks again,
Much Love n Peace,

Welcome Lunarpup!

There's a section of the Forum related only to Fender Fuse that you might find very helpful.

viewforum.php?f=26

I own three different Fender amps that use the Fuse software, including a Mustang V head and 4-12 cabinet (the earlier version), and it definitely took some work to get those amps talking to my various computers. Once I managed it, though, I was able to do amazing things with presets and downloads.

You've got hours and hours of fun ahead of you.

Enjoy!

Thank You CRGuitarMan, for the welcome and the link. >:o):
I kinda figured there would be a learning curve. (Still in the frazzled stage at the moment...hoping link helps. Will let ya know. Thanks again.
I do have to say, even without Fuse, and other 3rd party, it's one amazing setup. I spent the first week just making noise.....LMAO
I do have Fuse and the Amp talking at the moment with only minor spats here n there. :)
Take care,
Much Love n Peace,
Da Pup

CRGuitarMan, Thanks again!
Link turned out to be the place for answers. >:o): Even recorded and edited first bit of "sample" noise,( opening riff ) saved and played back. I was very impressed as well as that "Oh s**t, what did I get myself into" feeling. Now to figure out and play with more. >:o):
On a side note, My sister let me know her son,(7) is showing very real interest in playing the guitar. She asked for my help. I was beaming as I said yes. He's like a grand-son to me, but we're in different parts of the country....Be incentive to visit more.
Sorry for babbling, >:o):
Much Love n Peace,
