Hi. I bought my first ever Fender guitar the other day, so I thought I would join here to see if I could be convinced to buy more. It’s a Strat American Professional Ltd, and I think it’s quite nice, although I know a lot of Fender purists shudder at the thought of matching headstock. I bought it because it’s different. Being a leftie, most Strats usually only seem to be available in black, white or sunburst.

My other guitars are:
Gibson Les Paul Standard 2018
Gibson SG Standard HP 2019
Gibson SG Standard HP 2018
Gibson ES-275 Thinline 2019
Gretsch G5420LH
G&L Asat Tribute Bluesboy
Ibanez AE245L

I had been using the new Fender Bassbreaker 30R until a few days ago, but got a great deal on a Hughes & Kettner Tubemeister 36 Combo, which is spectacular. I also use a Line 6 Helix.

Next on my list is a PRS Private Stock.

Hey there, Mark. Welcome. That’s a nice looking axe you have there, and a popular player I’ve been told. Nice colour. Personally, I like the matching headstock although plain Jane, which is what I have, is plenty fine too. You’re right about naysayers, but they also would probably shudder at a Custom Shop inlaid precious metal or stone (such as diamond) headstock. Too bad fer them if they wanted to flip the baby. I know how hard lefties have it, and I think you done right some good with your choice.

Thanks for the welcome everyone.

I actually bought another Fender yesterday... it’s a Pink Paisley Telecaster. Pics to be added shortly.

Hello Franz123.

So I bought another guitar today. Sadly it’s not a Fender, although it is quite nice.

Welcome to the forums! Fender instruments are like Lay's potato chips. You can't just have one.....
