Yup. It’s time to grab the posse and head fer the hills. I wish newby_tele_girl and her neighbours the best with this raging storm.

Fender Strat Brat - yes pretty much that is exactly what we did! There was a mandatory evacuation for my county so we didn't take any chances. All is well with my family considering some have lost everything - recovery still in progress - many schools still have not reopened. Thank you! Peace and blessings to you.

Hi, newby_tele_girl.

Just caught up with you here having received your very kind words. The fact that you and yours are safe and well under the circumstances is thanks enough newby_tele_girl.

I’m glad your family did the smart thing by vacating the area. Sorry to read about your damage and the surrounding disaster, and I’m sure everyone will be affected in some way. I leave you with this.

Remember. The sun will always return.

Best to you and yours in recovering from it all.

Yo tele_girl, what are your plans for dealing with Florence? It's now a category 4 hurricane, that's pretty dangerous.

spacewolf!! My family went inland to Raleigh and we were there for a week and a half - awaiting the last insurance adjustor this week. Few shingles, porch/siding damage so basically all is well - some are displaced and have lost everything. Thank you - Peace and blessings to you.

Good to know you and your loved ones are okay. I'm sorry about the property damage, I hope you can get back to at least somewhat normal-ish soon.

Do you have electricity and running water?
