Hoping to learn a bit about amp mods. Picked up a Champ 600 and a Pro Junior recently and am planning to mess around with them a bit. I've built a couple of guitars from scratch so now moving on to the electronic stuff. Just want to learn and have fun!

Hi hendrixxhaze, welcome to the forum. I don't know anything about modding amps so I'll leave that to others to comment on.

Welcome, hendrixxhaze. Looks like you are gonna have a cool project and I expect that you’ll get a lot of help here in the Forums.

The only things I can add in that area is:

Be sure to unplug before messing about.

You might want to remove any jewelry like rings.

Your left hand is a direct line to your heart and that’s why some electricians often put their left hand in their pocket to remind them to work with their right. If you are left handed . . . nice knowing ya. Nah, just kidding.

Have fun here.

Hi,
Sounds like you are going into a very interesting world.
Used to be you could go to a lot of electronic stores and buy just about anything you needed.
Good thing you can still get things like that on-line...
Welcome& enjoy...
