Hi Darkrider:

That’s a pretty good Christmas, huh? I have a Mustang IV which is pretty cool, but your amp is frigid. :D I know you’ll have great times with it. Have great times here in the Forums too. :D

Cheers FSB,

Loving the GT40 so far, the presets are cool however the Wi-Fi side seems to have it in for me!

Glad you are enjoying the presets. They get even better once you discover the hows and whys of tweaking and that’ll come.

WiFi is iffy at best in so many situations, but that can often be improved. It happens to me with iPad, iPhone, Android tablet, TV. and WIFI speakers from time to time, but it’s inconsistent and seldom, making it difficult to narrow down, although in some cases I suspect the new modem and at other times the hardware receiving it.

You may have considered some or all of these, but I’ll include it FYI if it helps:

Not knowing if the amp WIFI is best run with a 2.5 GHZ or 5 GHZ connection modem and/or router connection, sometimes this may have an influence and there is a benefit to either. Most days this is automatic, sometimes you can do one or the other at the modem and other times you may have some 2.5GHZ gear alongside 5GHZ gear so that can negate using 5GHZ hookup in some situations. Not saying this is a concern, but it could be cause for a less than optimum result.

Also do an update if you haven’t:

And of course:

The GT with or without WIFI is cool all the same. 8)

Have a good one, Darkrider!
