Hello there,

Just got myself a nice HSS Mexica Strat and Mustang GT 40 after many years away from playing. Im also interested in recording so I'll be trying out the direct USB on the amp. Last time I recorded was on four track tape, gonna be interesting :D

My 4 track 10" reel to reel is now retired from overuse, age, and tape issues. It's like saying goodbye to an old friend.

You're going to enjoy the new options though. Enjoy your stay here too.

Hi Theprobe,
If you haven't done it already make sure you do a firmware update on your GT40, there was another release yesterday. I think it's a brilliant amp, I actually had access to a Champ Reissue recently and (apart from not being as loud...) I could barely tell any difference between the GT40 model and the real thing!
